What is the Mature Content flag? Does my submission need it?
By tagging your MIP art as Mature Content you are in essence informing the MIP browser that your submission contains material or subject matters which may be found to be offensive or upsetting. Two of the most common subjects which are considered Mature Content are artistic nudity and excessive violence and/or gore.
You may tag your submission as Mature Content at the time of submission or at a later date. By doing so your drawing will be concealed behind a special warning thumbnail for anyone who has the Hide Mature Content checkbox selected on their Settings page.
All images and written material containing nudity, excessive violence or other potentially upsetting or offensive material should be marked as Mature Content and the MIP staff reserves the right to assign the mature tag to any submission which they deem it necessary.
All users should be aware that the availablility of the Mature Content tag does not exempt a submission from obeying any other officially stated MIP policy.

How do I use the main Search?
As you could see, MIP is based on a tag categorization. This means that there are no preestablished categories; these are generated according to the most used tags and titles.
To make your search easier, you can check the most popular tags in our Tag Cloud, in wich you can distinguish between popular or not popular categories depending on the fonts size.
